we caught about 15 this year in one trap.

Harvest only the one. the rest were released back in to the same water system but about half mile a way from our trap. We did this to make sure we dont get the same turtle twice.

It was a lot of fun, the boys were really excited.

we did loose one of the boys this fall, "not the one here in this photo" He, his mom and twin baby brothers passed in a house fire a little over a month ago. He lived near the NY and NJ line and was here in michigan visitin his grammy over the sumer. He was only 6 years of age. But had the maturity of the ages and was a lot of fun to be with. I am Sad go see him pass but was glad to have spent a few hours with him over the past summer.
