You shouldn't just post good trips, right"? well, thought I had it all figured out for a good Pineview trip for bass. Free access to a good producer at Cemetery Point, close to home, calm. warm, what else do ya need? Wrong, wrong. [frown] Didn't compensate enough for the low levels at 27% --- all the good bass habitat high and dry. Should have known. Needless to say , not a bite. Oh well, I guess with low water levels, the only area is the narrows. [frown] [frown]
Going to Id. this weekend. Wish Sand Hallow was closer.

Pineview for me has always been fickle. Right now the fish are deep and pretty much bouncing jigs off the bottom will produce.

The quick change from summer heat to fall cold really seemed to put the fish deep fast this year. Fall and spring are usually my favorite times to bass fish, but this year with the extreme swings in weather, neither one were too memorable. Oh well, at least the summer was kind to me.
