Hit the berry today with my father in law and oh how sweet it was. Weather could not have been more perfect and had fish after fish after fish.Ended the day with 6 fat rainbows and 2 under slot cuts. My guesstimate would be somewhere around 60 plus fish. Only one slot Buster today, but fun fun fun!
Pearl white tube jigs and rainbow lucky craft where the lure of choice today.
Also stopped at the visitor center to watch the salmon do they're happy dance. Very cool to see!

its always amazed me how red cutthroat meat is, that is quality eating! i would dare say it tastes just as good as salmon if not better! the rainbows also get some nice color as well, anywhere else they have a whitish meat but from strawberry the meat is a very nice pink. im guessing it must be their diet.

The rainbows from Strawberry have far better meat than those pale-fleshed cutts!
