Ice Derbys?

I ice fish a lot but only ever do the burbot bash. What are some other tourneys on the ice around the ogden area? I'm doing reeling for life this year as well but what are some tourneys bait closer to home?

One of the first of the season is at Schofield but I guess it depends on how far you want to drive?

Wyoming has a couple in February. One at Viva Knotten and another at Sulpher Creek Res.

I don't mind a drive, curious if there's any at PV or mantua

None at PV or Manuta, last year at least. There was one at Hyrum. Two across the state line at Devil's creek and Chesterfield. Seems there are one or two more but I'll have to use the search funtion to remember where, unless someone else remembers.

there is a tri lakes tournament from the state parks that includes scof
ield rockport and starvation throughout the ice fishing season

no they did it last year also

OK, I remember the one at Starvation and Schofield but I did not remember one at Rockport, just the long one they had two years ago that used the tagged fish. Were any of these tagged fish derbies?

nope no tags in these ones

Think it was Cabelas that had some other tagged fish abouts. Recall Mantua being said to have on of the big prize fish, never heard more.

Hyrum has had tagged fish and prizes I think the last couple of years.
And the trout tourneys. Later in the season.

I know they had "events" at both Mantua and Pineview, but don't know they qualified as "derbys".
