Need help please...

I want to take my boat out one more time before I have to winterize it. Where to go? Thinking about Utah lake, Rockport or Echo. Not sure about water levels at the last two? Can boats still be launched at Rockport? Is Echo still launched by their tractor? If so, how much?
Any recent reports on these waters?

Don't know if Deer Creek is an option but it is back up to sixty percent full and the last time I looked at the stocking report they had planted around thirty thousand trout within the past month.

If your boat is on the larger side make sure to go to the main boat ramp down by the dam so that launching won't be a problem.

You can still launch at Rockport but I don't think Echo is even open this time of the year for boat fishing. I think you would have your best luck at Utah lake. I agree with the other member, Deer creek or even East canyon should be good.

Drove past Echo yesterday on the way to fish the Rockport dam. Echo looked like Mantua on a good day. If you could get out there I;m sure the fishing would be fantastic, but I don't know how you'd get out there. On a side note, the Weber browns are big and hungry for lures that look like fish.

I did pretty well right below the dam (two nice strong 17 inch browns and lost more than I care to admit), but bring your waders. I was about waste deep casting out and slow retrieving back with rainbow rapalas. We got up there late after fishing the lower weber (which was awesome by the way) or else we could have landed a bunch more.
Below the spillway its cloudy and deep, but gets clear, shallow and very weedy almost right away. If you walk down you'll find deeper pools and fly fishing would probably work really well.
