Not likely because the Pig is so deep, it is usually one of the last to freeze. Look at hitting it some time in Jan. Mantua is one of the first to freeze.

Curt is right on the money, cutler is freezing now, Mantua or Newton will be next, then Hyrum and Porcupine will follow. No ice on Newton Saturday but it had ice on the rocks around the edge. Next cold spell will likely do it. Later J

Nice update, wonder if its cold enough to stick. The days are still warm enough I'm not sure it will stick yet. Won't be long though, usually mid December its building ice. Thanks J

It's too warm in the day for it to stick, give it a couple 2 or 3 of weeks. Can't wait.

My thoughts exactly on the ice, but once this high pressure clears out it will probably turn winter. Haven't seen many posts for awhile you turning into an icefisherman exclusively? Later J

Yes, mantua was partially capped this am. However as I came back through this afternoon, it was back open again.

Won't be long now, maybe this next storm will bring in enough cold air to get it done. I'm still wanting to fish in the boat, so that usually brings the ice on early. Well get everything rigged and ready and try putting together some new ice fishing toys and it will be here before your ready. Later J
