Chesterfield 11/30/13 photo heavy
#1
We fished chesterfield from 8 to about 2:30 Had our best luck on red and chartreuse tube jigs and white and yellow jigs both tipped with worm. Ice was good and solid But a little thin it was really vocal till about noon. Then water started forming around the edges you had to hunt for a spot to get off or suffer the wet foot syndrome. Had a fantastic day Both the wife and i landed some fantastic fish, thanks for the info about the place and how to get there [cool]

Fished across the Reservoir from you in a party of three (me plus two teens) Had a phenomenal day, fishing all day! You may have heard me scream at 8:05 AM when I lost a fish of a lifetime, I actually wanted to throw up. Fought it for ten minutes taking my full drag twice, never did see it. Oh' well I had fun and in the end it saves me $300 for a wall mount[Smile]

I did hear you guys and you did do fantastic you were reeling them in right and left. Thats true but sure would have been nice to see it. My wife had one like that too it just peeled line until it broke. There must be some fantastic fish in there. if you don't mind me asking what were you using ? if you want just send me a pm and i don't disclose any one elses information. Smile

It was great talking to you too I had a ball watching you guys, i hope we can make a few more trips over there. Oakley might be a little while this year all of the shallow spots are just about dry and being so low the deep stuff will take a while to freez up. The trapper creek arm is almost non existent this year and dumps into the main body of water and is going to make it a bit sketch getting across to the south side without some really cold weather. After we get back from henrys i will start checking it often and let ya know Smile
