After having a good morning at Chesterfield, my party of three went to solve the ice mystery of Devil Creek. Ice is 2.5-3 inches and in my opinion not the best. Fishing was great though. If you have ever fished Devil you know anything will work. A great place to break in kids to ice fishing. I was fishing away from the boat ramp about 200 yards. I did not dare cross the ice. I am sure ice is better near the dam. In a day or two I am sure it will be good ice throughout.
Best,

Thanks Curt, by the way I have loved your reports from Henry's this winter. Your camp is something I want to do when I retire in 17-20 years. Keep us posted on Island Park, I have fished it twice this winter using your rules and have done OK. I just need to get into the kokes there; I know where to go they have just kicked my butt and have evaded me.

Thanks Lucas--my ice fishing got cut short last year, due to a very extensive Eagle Scout project my son did. I am going to make up for it this winter.
