My son and I fished it for 1.5 hours tonight. The most cold I have felt this season and in my own backyard. Good news bad news. We only iced three fish two trout and one chub. First ever chub for me at Rigby Lake, but a few years ago I caught a kokanee out of there. The good news I marked a lot of fish on the Vex, very light bites. It may have been just and off night, but I believe there is a lot of catching to do at Rigby Lake. Ice was a solid 5 inches.

Thanks Don--I will be there on Winter Solstice at sunrise (Dec. 21st.) It is an annual tradition for my son and I. Ice fishing, wild hot springs, and dinner at Pickles in Arco.
Best,

I tried getting on the ice last Wed. it was just a little to thin at that point so I went to Roberts and caught 3" perch.
