A good time was had thanks for meeting up curt. I guess you failed to mention the part about dropping it in four low and sliding of the hill all in just trying to get to henry's. It was cool watching your cummings come across that hill side ways. We ended up catching a few more after you left with a few more brookies but non of size. We are gonna try to hit henry's again tomorrow so if you up for it get ahold of me.

We fished IP on the way back from Henry's last Sunday. Did OK on 16" 'bows.
So there's brookies in IP? Good to know.
Are there any sizeable fish caught in Island Park?

12 to 16 inches . The best place to catch them is in deep water in front of the dam .

Good news they raised the amount of water they are letting out to about the same amount going in . Hopefully that means better edges and less water on top of the ice .

That is good news. All that slushy wetness is no joy to be in. This is my third season on the hard deck and I have yet to ice a Koke. Any tips? I don't own a fish finder or flasher. Usually just set 5 lines at varying depths. Have used a multitude of jigs and baits. Catch trout, but no Kokanee.

I don't understand why it is so hard to catch kokes in IP . They plant 250,000 every year . The best place I have found , is about 150 feet out from the dam in deep water .
