Scofield 12/11/13
#1
got up there around 9:00 in the morning temps were -4 and no wind.. got out on the ice and first drop it was fish on.. tryed to take a pic with my I-phone 5 it was not having anything to do with the cold shout down and i could not get it to work all day.. so no pic's.. we caught fish all day left and right just about anything we put down big small tipped with worm or minnow cought fish.. we caught mostley cutt's one 23 inch and chunky.. all the rest were slot or lower.. about 5 tigers come in and about 15 rainbow.. no chub all in all i would say about 60 or so fish for the two of us and missed 5x that amount.. we would not go more then 2 or 3 min's with out a hit if we did bait was gone.. well then the moon came up and the fish just locked there jaws. so we only hit about 3 fish in the last hour so packed it up and headed home.. not near as much snow there. as there is up faiview and the ice is not near as good as i thought it would be.. for how cold it is up there. the ice was soft and I did not hear it pop all day! we were going to walk to jap point but ice gets thin as ya go out and slushy too..

This reminds me of my last winter trip to scofield, brrrr.....another reason I hate going out there ice fishing. Although I do enjoy myself when I get out there. Just gotta get past that cold spot first.....[:p]

Nice report!!!!![cool]
