Normally I'd wait till after Christmas to hit the ice. But this time around it seems I can't wait, so with that, I will be heading up to Mantua to get my fix of things about 230ish today. Is there pretty much safe ice around the launching/docking area on the west side of the lake? Any info on inches? Might coerce a buddy to follow, but he's a big boy and won't go out unless it's 4+" or thicker...Appreciate any info given...
