Left Ice rod at Mantua
#1
Yeah,

I did it. Ran off and left a rod sitting in a hole. It has a gold reel and a slip-bobber set up on it. If you find it, I can promise that is a good place to fish!

Hoping it somehow finds it way home...

That stinks. A fish probably swam away with it. Probably a 7lb rainbow! j/k.

When I got there, I made a binocular sweep from the boat ramp - and saw something golden in the sun. Hot dang, thought I, and scrambled the 200 yards to...an orange soda can.

There were 20+ groups of anglers already there along the inlet side. If you left your rod anywhere on that side, somebody else must own it now.

I tried.

I lost one out of my sled yesterday out there as well! My 4 yr old was trying to pull the sled by herself... which wasnt happening, but looking back at the pics I can see that the rod was in my sled. Must have fallen out at the hill where we went back up by the inlet. If anyone finds a neon green frabil I would be thrilled to get it back. Not an expensive rod, but one of my originals that means alot. Has a cheapo reel on it.... not sure of the brand though.
