Deer Creek update

As of 8 a.m. this morning. Deer Creek is still open water. There is a little bit of ice in the Charleston Bay. It has been there for about a week. But remember this area gets the current of the Provo river running in it so it could be really inconsistent with ice depth. Remember what happened last year. The state had to patrol it to keep people off there were so many people falling through. Be safe. Have fun.

Now with the rain we have had this morning the ice is even more unsafe.

And, it's been warmer here, almost balmy, in Heber for the past several days. This is going to be a late freezer if DC freezes at all this year.
