The utah dwr report shows good fishing. I assume that it's through the ice.
Also I believe it is a walk in access now. [signature]

Been there a couples of times in the last week. Ice was 6-7" just out from the dam but still am a little weary to venture out to far ice cracks and pops pretty good. Been catching a few 8" rainbows that's it.

i agree with sandalland, i am a youngling so i don't go out by myself, but i did once, just checking the ice with my friend about a week ago, the first 20-40 yards were 5-7 inches, we didn't dare go out any further, but fishing reports have been pretty good

Safe ice all over the lake and fishing is none stop. Lots of sunnys and trout. Plastics and live didn't matter. 21' fish all throughout the water column.

I was there Wednesday. The ice tapered from 6" from the dam to 2.5 40-yds out.
I wouldn't say safe ice all over just yet.

I walked across the middle and had two boys with me 7 years old and would not put them in jeopardy if 2.5", 5.5" everywhere I drilled. Only about 1" of slush on top and that was only in a few places otherwise a great evening of fishing.
good luck fishing, now if the crappie would bite. [signature]

When you refer to ''sunnys' are you talking green sunfish ?or bluegills ? I've seen some nice crappie come out of there but they seem to be very hard to come by.Hope to get into some tomorrow.

holmes and companys are one in the same. There are also both green ears and gills in there. I also pulled out a few 6"-7" perch out of there this summer so dont be suprised to pull a few of them out. There are lots of big crappie in there but I can never find them in spring and have trouble pinpointig them through the ice. Alot of pesky bows to weed through in order to get the big slabs. Average size slabs last year was 10.5" biggest was 13". Best baits were gizzy bugs in white or pink tipped with a butter worm. Good luck out there and be safe.
