Mantua or Hyrum Ice?

I would like to fish Mantua or Hyrum tomorrow and was just wondering if either of these were a sloppy, slushy mess like LC was on Friday. Anyone fish either of these today?

I fished the upper end of Hyrum yesterday. Yep it's slushy. There's a few inches of snow on top of 2 or 3 inches of water. Makes for a slushy mess. If you've got good boots you'll be fine. We left when my girl's feet got a little wet. Not sure what conditions were like down by the dam.

Still lots of people out. There were 4 wheelers and snow machines on the ice. There was 7 to 8 inches of good ice under all the crud. It's been fairly warm so I doubt all the slush froze up.

Fished mantua saturday and had a great time. the ice was a solid 7-8" clear ice with 2" of frozen slush. There were tons of people out and everyone I asked said the ice was the same. the only place that i would be careful is by the inlet. Still has open water around that area.
