well what a difference a week makes... first got up there 2nd pull on my my snowmobile rope and it brakes in my hand.. that sucked.. but there was two other fishermen that were just going out and Don was already on the ice so i asked them if they would stop on there way out and have Don come and get me.. so waited about 10 min's and here he came to pick me up.. cool but fishing had been sucking in our spot we fished last weekend so after about a hour there we moved to a different spot. we started out hitting fish but soon slowed down again.. did get some nice fish there and 2 or 3 tigers around 20 inchs.. i think the 4 of us might have got 40 or so fish today and not near as fast fishing as last week. might have had to do with the snow storm we were in last week it was nice and sunny... was very cold and windy today there was slushy spots all over the lake deep in places ice was at least 6 or 7 inchs everywhere we punched holes today.. did not go all the way to the dam so not sure what it looks like down that way.. i think all but one of my fish today were tigers..

Nice work up there! I was tempted to try and make the walk in on Friday, but decided to hit Huntington instead. It sucked pretty bad and was ridiculously cold. Not sure I could've made the walk to E-Lake, but it probably would've been better than Huntington. When you gonna teach me how to fish?

there are still plenty of Cutt's in there. last week up there it was almost 50/50 of each.. they come around in schools some times it was all tigers coming up wait 10 min's it was all cutt's coming up.. we have been hitting some Rainbows evey now and then too.. for some reason the tigers and rainbows look a lot more healthy then the cutt's do.. but then the yellowstone cutt's have never done very good in there and never got very big ether.. not like they do in yellowstone it's self..

Thanks again Ron! Slow fishing or fast fishing at least we were fishing!
Beats working any day. Some very nice fish and the best company around, my son Dallas and good friends like you and Kayle!

Yo Don.
You and Kayle (mont) went and didn't invite me??? Actually, I haven't been out this year... yet. Looking forward to getting out 3 or 4 times between christmas and New Years. My wife has turned into an ice fishing junkie. You all heading out anywhere worth while over the holidays? We want some good fish, including perch. Thinking about Electric Lake, Scofield, Starvation, Strawberry and or Rockport. How big are they at E lake. I have a snowmobile now and can snowmobile in. I only have a few saturdays that I can get away anymore. My "other" job keeps me pretty busy with not much "me" time anymore.

The fish we are catching at E-Lake seem to average between 16-20". Nice fish! I'll go anywhere and most anytime, just pm me and we'll set something up. Hopefully Ron, Dallas and Kayle can go at the same time. If I don't hear from you ,have a Merry Christmas and great New Year Kevin!

I'm sure you could teach me a lot! I'm ready whenever you are, going to try and get out as much as I can between Christmas and New Years.
