Merry Christmas too everyone especially the great people who shared some info where too hit as well hats off too tube dude for his great jigs and knowledge how too fix the old fish finder. It was very helpful. Fishing wasn't fast and furious but it made an amazing Christmas ice fishing extravaganza.
Finally went to Mantua for the first time in my life after all of the years passing it by while going back home from bear lake as a kid. Was suppose too be up there at 7 am or earlier but my stupid phone shut down when it was fully charged for no reason. Got at the parking lot about 11am. First I for some blood but there was no blood but some dinky bg that indicated someone caught something in that area [angelic]. Tossed TB jigs down the drain and instant hits. Most hits today were like little taps. Bows were marked at 11ft but in 2-3 ft depth, BG from 8-11 ft on the bottom, perch 13-14 ft, and the bass 13-14 ft.
End up catching 3 bows range from 12-14.5", 7-10 Perch from 2-8.5", and BG 10-15 6.5-8".
Didn't really know where too go but I call it a pretty good fishing trip out there for the first time and had no clue where too go. Drilled probably about 15+ holes experimenting around the lake.
I found king mantua throne.

First and smallest bow of the day.

First BG.

14.5" Bow Biggest one of the day.

For the first day out there what I say about this lake you get into the nice size or the dinkers. There are no middle class perch [laugh].

Bowl of weed for the day. Hope there were no blood worms on there that ruined a fish dinner.

One happy 10" LMB

Little thing that I heard on the radio coming back home.
Christan use too go to church on Christmas day, the Jews celebrated 12 days of Hanukkah, and the Atheist roam around on the streets telling you too watch out for the wall.
