Strawberry and Snowmobiles?

Is there enough ice in the main bays to run a snowmobile across Strawberry?

I'm on it right now with my bro on snowmobiles in the bays we have hit the ice has been 7-12" but we haven't ventured far yet just close to shore in different areas. I would assume the dam and possibly haws point or near the meadows and narrows is danger but not sure if it is, I don't dare go there yet it's been a nice day away from the crowds though, I lost a 8+ lb cutty

We ventured a little bit towards the narrows but it got scary at 6" of ice and popping like crazy so we went back to where it was around 10". For me personally I'm going to wait another week or so before going out there towards the meadows just because around haws point has warm springs so I have heard
