Went to Rockport today,I like a lot of others got the big skunk! Marked fish all thru the water column, fished 34-40FOW.

Bummer, what area were you fishing? Rockport has been hit and miss for a lot of members but location is key. If you try it again, try fishing in water that is 18 to 25 FOW. Were you fishing by others? If so, try getting away from the crowds. Hope that helps.

Fished straight out from the ramp, away from others. Then moved further south, again not near others but with the same result. Marked fish at both locations but no takers.

I have the best luck in 47' FOW and fish in 7-20ft deep. I'm heading out tomorrow morning so let's see what great time I can have. Hope I can find my old holes before the snow storm [laugh].

Haven't been skunked on the ice there this year [Wink].
