Havebt seen a lot of post about Willard bay, curious if anyone knows how much ice or if theyve fished with any success. I've really been wanting some walleye and that's the closest place I know of that holds them. Any info is appreciated. Got all my walleye rigs ready to go but haven't made it there.

sorry cant tell you exactly how thick the ice is or how the fishing is but there were a few people sitting on the ice this morning outside of the north marina when we drove by on our way to Mantua

That's great help honesty, that was where I wanted to target. I know walleye chase prey in there so maybe I will have to go out there to play!

I have never ice fished it but today the whole lake was frozen and I couldn't see any open water anywhere as we drove by this morning and back by this afternoon it looked like the ice was good from what I could see Good luck [fishin]

Did you fish near the dam at Causey? If so, how was the hike down the dam?

The hike down isn't bad it's the hike back up that's the killer especially if you're dragging a heavy sled.
