The fish are still biting at Scofield. I took the family up on Saturday and landed quite a few after doing a little searching for the right depth. Most of the fish were 10-12" bows and cuts except for a 17" tiger that made my day.
I picked up a few buddies Sunday morning and headed back up. What a great day. I iced around 30 fish, one friend landed around the same, while my other friend was having difficulties with his timing. It was good comic relief for the rest of us especially when I would reach over and grab his line and hook the fish for him. At one point he asked me if I felt like I was fishing with my kids?
Ice is snow-capped with about 3 inches of snow and is about 18" thick. [
