Turning into a hermit, decided I better start socializing a bit, who better to talk with than y'all? Lifetime utard, conceived, born, raised here. Mainly a trout fisherman not by choice so much as that's what usually on the end of the line. Would like to become a better panfish/lure fisherman ( I usually fish with bait). Anyway, great to be here and looking forward to learning alot from y'all.

I can help you. Go to Utah Lake. No trout there. Then you won't have to worry about being a trout fisherman because they accidentally end up on the end of you're line.

Not true. Several trout were caught there this year.

Yeah, I'm sure some drift down from the provo river and other trout streams. But they probably stay close to the inlets.

don't have a boat fishing from shore and ice
grew up a mile from a.f. Boat harbor, fished there a thousand times and caught many browns there and in the nearby irrigation ditches
currently living near Ogden

think that covers it for now
oh yeah made it to Mantua a couple times this year
took my 3 yr old last trip( Saturday)
looks like I'll have to post the pics from my laptop, phone not cooperating
