Strawberry Narrows Ice

Anyone been in the narrows from the renegade side? We went out on Saturday and got to the entrance and turned around. It looked super sketchy, like there was still several open spots. Went and fished renegade bay and iced about 15-20 in about three hours, missing several more. Looks like all the fish are getting a little fatter.

I saw a group mid week that went in. Didn't ask how they did. The slush refroze in the mouth of the narrows.

I went in last Saturday from Renegade past the other fork that takes you back to the Strawberry side. Ice was a good 12" but a little spooky due to the fact that there are spots that have no snow.... I stuck close to the edges so I didn't have to drive on it. There were a few guys that headed even further towards Soldier Creek but I never saw them return [crazy]. Fishing was decent!!!
