My dad and a buddy were there today, caught one 33" pike.

I was there today as well. Ice was in great shape on the painted rocks side. I landed a 25 and 29incher and lost 2 more right at the hole. My Dad couldn't buy a bite. It was a great day out on the ice even though the fishing was a litte slow. I was very excited as these were my first pike! Good luck on Saturday!

And here - I was getting ready to move your post to the "music board" - but - we don't have one on BFT (that I know of? I know there's musicians out there!).

Sure wish we had some NORTHERN pike up NORTH in this grate state. Maybe they should dump some in Newton - replace the lost Muskies.

I gather they must reproduce pretty efficiently? Seen lots of talk about thinning the herd. Wouldn't mind trying to Pike stew or steaks someday.
