Went to Deer Creek in a group of 4 today. Fished down past the Wallsburg Arm. Found them suspended 10-17 feet in 40 plus feet for the most part. Jigs had to have orange to get hit.

I was there Saturday, parked at the island ramp and traveled out just past the buoys in 50 fow. Tried ratfinkee, paddle bug, tube jig, gizzybug, in just about every color but orange, all without a nibble. I marked maybe two fish with the flasher, kind of a weird morning, skunked. Can someone throw me a bone and give me direction on what to use at DC? I never get skunked and I want revenge!

Saturday was an interesting day by the island. We marked very few fish. They just didn't seem to be moving through like they normally do. We did manage to catch a few. We walked across to the the far side to see if things were better there, but only caught one and saw very few swim through. Just one of those days on Deer Creek. Looks like HeartofDixie did well the last few days though. Check out his report.
