Yuba (2-3-14)
#1
Went to Yuba today. Started off at 4am to get on the frontrunner train to Provo to meet DuckDog1us and his son. We were 1st to arrive in the parking lot, and the 2nd car was the last car of the day.

With a proper hook set I pulled a 24 inch 2lb 4oz pike right out of the hole.

Then I got this 8lb 1oz 33 inch pike!

Ended the day with a ride on the train.

Nice going, were you using chub meat for your catching? That is amazing that a fish that is 9" longer is that much larger. Did DuckDog1us and his son catch anything?

The little one came on the chub.

DD1US got the skunk. He lost a few but his specialty is trout anyway. [:p]

Excellent post. Does the train take you to Yuba front door?

I wish![cool]

The UTA Frontrunner goes from Ogden to Provo. I catch it in Murray and ride to provo. It gets me close enough to get a ride with several BFT members that live in provo. It costs around $5 each way and takes about 30 mins. It moves pretty fast.
