Is a wheeler an option on the ice? Stop by and have a cold beverage and a sausage McMuffin with egg of course. I'll be in the silver Chevy with company logos on the side in snow camo.

I don't have a lot of experience with wheelers, but I doubt you could do much with it on the lake. It looked pretty deep. Here's a pic of the parking lot at Ridley's.

Well guys, lets hear it, how did you do? The first day we fished just off from the north parking lot.....1 fish for the day. Sunday was better over in front of the dam.....3 for myself and 2 for my buddy. Nothingthat could be measured though mostly 16".

tried get on the ice at the east ramp early sat morn. approx 13" slush, made it about 40 yards before my buddy was soaked. drilled a couple holes. by that time he was done and headed to the truck. i threw the finder in, 19' rigged a rod dropped in started buildin a platform to stand on. 11fish 4 break offs lost 4 at the hole largest fish was 18 1/2". Healthy fish fat strong. fished further north sunday super slow, good thing the finder wasn't a heart monitor FLAT LINE only marked 4 fish in 4-5 hours. called it when the second wave of weather hit. Well on Saturday we showed up around 10. By the looks of the lake I decided not to take out the wheeler. That was a good choice lots of snow and slush. That stuff was deep. We fished north of the boat ramp by that far north parking lot.
Onto the fishing. After we set up in 25' FOW an hour went by and then got a bite miss. Then another bite and a 16" bow surfaced. Had one other bite and we left around 4:00.
Today we sat up in the same area, not as many people as the day prior. Set the line down the holes and bam had a bite right off the bat. I was thinking this was going to be good. We stayed until around noon only ended up icing another 16" bow and had a real nice one get off at the hole. I believe it was good enough to win an hourly prize. Last I looked largest fish of the tourney was 21 3/4 long there were two the same size. Had fun and will try again next year.

I fished near the north end of the center parking lot. Twenty four feet of water. Iced five fish Saturday. Lost a few and one break off. The largest was nineteen and three quarters inches. Caught it just before four o'clock. Didn't take it to be measured. Probably should have. I attached a pic of Saturdays fish. Sunday I set up in the same place caught four at the sixteen inch mark. Caught two chunky chubs too. Had lots of fish moving through but they didn't want to stop and look. Fished till the weather blew me off at 12:30. Slush was a problem. I stomped a platform Saturday and used it both days. Like alway, a fun derby. My parents live in Kemmerer and are needing some attention so I'll probably get another trip or two this year.
