Flaming gorge ice/boat trip

The ice is going fast so we decided to play it safe and fished between buckboard and confluence the last day but only got a rainbow, no ling. We had a great trip and it will be one to remember. [cool]

Awesome post. Did not make it to the gorge for ice fishing this year. Ask me why and I cannot tell you. However fished it 1/2 a dozen times in October and November. Hopefully this year I can get on to a big laker. Caught numerous rainbows that size or a little better. I love the Gorge!

This is why I love the Gorge, you really can't beat it, so many fish and fish species, open water and ice it is the best place and you can always catch something there. How deep you you guys catching the lakers?[fishin]

We got them at 100ft. We are still learning but have the basics figured out. We haven't got any over 30lbs yet. Yes the gorge is a awesome place!
