Fished East Canyon to day. Went out by the dam; open water ranging from 2' to 4' around the edges and fading fast. Used a 12' plank to get on. Solid ice with about 1-2" of slush which worsened as the day progressed. Slow catching, 6 fish in 4 hours. Fish would come, look, then leave. 24' water, caught from 5' to 20'; power bait seemed better, meal worms second. Waxies and crawlers, sents, etc. did not do well. Used white, chartruese, pink and green with speckles, would say white did best. Had the lake mainly to myself, had another join me for a few hours. Had planned to take scouts out on Monday, doubt I'll risk other peoples kids out there!
