Toxic spill @ Willard Update ???

I drove out to Willard last Tuesday to check ice / open water conditions... They still have the spill are roped off .. Locked out from the center of the beach to the north parking area and who know how far out the north dike.. Any one have an update on when it will be open ?? I'm heading out today with my son and granddaughter.. Not thinking we will do any catching but I need to get OUT !! If I talk to any one with info I will report back..

I haven't heard how long that land will be closed off but I did hear they are doing test on the soil every so often. It could be when the year mark comes they will remove the closed off area but who knows. What time of day did you get to the marina on Tues?

We got out there around 1000 on sunday.. We fished the main channel heading out to the bay.. Nothing nanda zip.. Fished for 3 hrs.. I didn't see anyone to talk to about it.. Thanks WH2
