Headed out to newton tonight to check out the ice and figured i may as well see if I could spot a musky or two. I definitely wasn't expecting to see anything after how low the water got this last year, but in about 3 hours of fishing, ended up seeing 6 muskies. Hooking them was an entirely different matter, but it was nice to find out there's still something alive out there!

What did the ice look like? All this rain has to be rotting it away pretty quickly.
