Deer Creek ice report!

My friends Art and Karen and I launched our boats at the State Park this morning and are trolling Charleston as I type.
Had to break ice to get here but have been rewarded with a couple fat rainbows.

I stopped by on the way down from Strawberry today. I saw several boats out trolling. I also saw quite a few fish rising in the AM on the way by. There is some ice in the middle and by the island, but I bet it will be ice-free in a week or so. Here's a pic of the Wallsburg arm, looking toward Timp. What a great day to be out fishing.
