Fished the SC side today. Perfect ice conditions - 20 (plus) inches of ice, edges are solid & a little snow on top for traction. It was very cold up there today & ice was continuing to expand.

Was up there was weekend and had similar results. 20+ inches of solid ice and 45 healthy fish to fill the time. I'd say you still have at least three more weeks of winter fun at the berry. I for one am done with the hard water from the 2013-2014 season and am looking forward to uncovering the boat this weekend. Cheers and all that good stuff.

Fished it on Sunday ice was 28" and it's just going to get worse my friend. I don't see that ice going any where any time soon what so ever. Fishing was decent.

I'm new to BFT. I tried Berry earlier in the winter near the marina, but had no luck then. I am thinking about trying again before the ice melts. Where should I go? Haw's point? Chicken Creek? I don't have sleds, so I'll be walking. Thanks
