My Daily Herald Article
#1
Hello Everyone,

It's been awhile since I've posted here. I just completed another article on fishing in Utah for The Daily Herald and mentioned our beloved TubeDude.

I thought I would share. If you care to read it, enjoy!

[#0000FF]Nice article Shawn. Glad I could contribute. Also glad to hear that you are bringing those younguns up proper. I was a single father of 3 for several years and you can bet my kids got in a lot of time on the water with dear old dad. Many years later our trips are still a common topic of conversation at family gatherings...usually in a POSITIVE way.

Thanks, Pat! I appreciate all the fishing advice and friendship you've offered me over the years.

About the kids, we were sitting around the dinner table the other day and they chided me rather heatedly for a Lake Powell fishing trip I had taken them on a couple of years ago.

Despite the fact that we caught some very nice smallmouth and largies, all they seemed to remember was how the wind came up, the waves got high, and they got wet and a bit tossed until I could get us back to docks.

I must admit, the return trip across the main Lake Powell channel was pretty rough at times, and I doubt they'll ever let me forget it!

Thanks, Bob. The kids and I have made some great memories together on the water over the years.
