Why shocked? Because after freeze up and losing Sparky I haven't found it fish able until now. It's been chocolate chocolate, and low, low so when I went yesterday, I expected much the same. It was low alright, but clear!!!!!! Well in 2 hrs of fishing with a REALLY torn up Prince nymph I caught 5 and lost at least as many because of a dull hook. Since I haven't had a fish "fix" in over 5 mos. I couldn't resist keeping a limit. I'm going to be eating fish now for several meals.

Nice catch. I am getting more active in fly fishing and living in Ogden, the Weber is a river I want to try but haven't yet. Makes me want to use spring break (perk of being a teacher) to go try a few places. If you're willing, would you DM me with thoughts on places to start trying? I know Web runs all the way up the canyon, but not sure where it is legal and where it gets into trespassing.

Nice haul Fred, glad you were able to get out for some spring fishing.
After reading the Weber was running clear, I decided to give it a try yesterday. Was only there a little over an hour but was able to pick up a couple of small browns.
