Fished Koosharem Friday and Saturday. Not much to report about, but hey, I did catch some fish.
Friday I caught one fish before getting blown off (I fished there two times last week and got blown off both days) after about a half hour. It sure doesn't take much weather or any different atmospheric conditions to get the wind howling up there.
I caught 6 cutthroats on Saturday trolling various lures. One that wasn't bad (probably 2 lbs) and the other 5 were pretty small. No bows seemed interested. I fished for about 4 hours so the fishing was pretty slow but the wind died down at about 10 am and it was too tempting to keep fishing when the water/wave conditions were as good as they were.
Talked to some folks that had hit Otter and they said that it was painfully dead and that they didn't see a fish caught??!! Don't know what that's about since I'd heard fair reports from the week before.
