Ice off at Da Berry 4/22

Not really much ice off yet. The only open spot on strawberry side was the ladders. I decided to check out soldier creek today. The gate is still closed going to the boat ramp area. It was a long walk in but I found just enough open water to throw a jig for a couple of hours. Caught a few nice cuts but the fishing isn't "ice off" hot just yet. Give it a week or two and the ice off action will be on!

Thanks for a true up to date strawberry thaw report! Beautiful cut by the way. I was wondering when TRUE ice off would begin. Maybe 2 weeks?

Anytime, I'm glad I could help out. Ice off depends on the weather. Today was cold and ice formed along the edges. Guess it's going to be a cold weekend as well. I would say 2 weeks will be perfect ice off conditions.
