Big Horn Lake

I am heading to the Big Horn Lake tomorrow for my first crack at thos smallmouths. Anyone have any idea's on getting them to bite? I thinking Dropshot, jigs and tubes.
BTW- I have an empty back seat tomorrow if anyone is interested.

That looks like a pretty cool lake! I've never fished it but a smallie has hard time turning away from a dropshot.

What a beautiful lake. The scenery reminds me of Lake Powell except with more greenery. Well I wish I could say I smacked them. I think I had one bite. Water is 50 degrees. Metered a lot of fish, but think they were carp. They are everywhere. Does anybody know how to fish this lake short of waiting for the temps to rise to 60?

I like to use jerk baits and cranks at that temp. But my lake this weekend was at 51 degrees also, and we couldn't buy a bite.
Guess its been a harder winter than we thought.
