we'll see how well they survive in newton, they had way too many in there. I wish they'd plant about half that number. such a small place for hundreds of muskie cruising around.

I wonder if they will catch on in Johnson Valley Reservoir this time. Has anyone ever caught one from that lake from the last time they were planted there? You NEVER see anyone on the water there, and from what I understand there is only trash fish in that lake. It's too bad. It's a beautiful lake and location.

PBH and his family have caught some from Johnson Reservoir. Used to fish it as a kid and if one could get past the chubs there were some nice rainbows in there. I had one of the best fishing days of my life one day just below the dam, late in the fall when the water was drawn down really low. Lots of large rainbows were sucked through the dam and were in the river.
The last time I fished it, it was full of stunted perch.
