I fished freeway bay about 2 hours, no fish, I was the last one to give it up. Headed south and checked the south shore, glad I did, there were only about 6 people there, all getting bites. I guess I beached half a dozen It's hard to quit when it's that much fun. Landed one on 4 lb. test but it cost me some tackle, what a hoot. I don't care how many people go out there, some of the people who are there don't deserve to be there anyway, litter bugs and thieves why do people act like that? no sense of honor or are they just stupid, I can forgive that, it's me sometimes, but not littering or stealing. It would be nice to see more law enforcement out there people are keeping over limits or calling friends to bring bait and take fish I would like to see them pinch some people for littering, and make them clean it up.

Thanks for posting your report BB, glad you got into the fish. As far as folks leaving trash, I guess there will always be people like that, that have no respect for the outdoors. Those people that are taking over their limit, it seems they a greedy and are only thinking about themselves. The thing about folks that break the law, is that even if the DWR was there watching them, they would still find a way to cheat. Either by moving to another location or by just waiting until the fish cops leave. It is a Sad deal but about all we can do as anglers is to turn them in, call the poaching hot line the next time you see it happening.

Sorry about the rant, I worked out there a few times in my working years and I was looking forward to it being a nice place to go. I wish everyone knew the difference between a park and a landfill. The good news is the Willard bay state park and landfill is fishing good right now.
