CV we seen a big crew of bank tangulars in the north marina (north east corner) yesterday. I didn't see them catch anything but they were packed shoulder to shoulder. We suspected crappie but TD investigated and the water was very shallow so he turned around and left so I don't know if there were fish there or not but its something to look at. I graphed fish in the channel into the bay from the marina so you might get something there. Good luck. J

Thanks Jeff, we will investigate that option. We have all day so I expect we will be doing a lot of exploring.

Water temps are on the rise. Crappies might be hitting brushy areas and rocks. Wipers might be deeper early and hitting shorelines in the afternoon. Take lots of dead minnows and worms so the catfish can save you from a skunk if it isn't going well.

i too hit willard yesterday around 4ish till 5:30 i hit the north marina as well on the north east side. within 1hr we caught 7 fat crappies with eggs and 2 smallies so they are there getting ready to spawn. there were 2 guys on a creamy white boat i would say (lund) that was getting tons of crappie left and right.
