Thanks to everyone for the Willard Bay info. Headed over yesterday with my two boys. We met up with Tyedye and started fishing. It was pretty slow all day, then about 2:30 it really picked up. The boys and I caught 9 wipers between us and we had a blast. The biggest was 21 inches with the rest around 16 inches. We had to leave about 3:30 right when the fishing was at the hottest. I would of posted pictures, but my phone went nuts this morning and I had to do a factory reset, losing all my pictures... My 16 year year old daughter saw the pics, now she is begging me to take her up there today lol.

I'm glad you had a good day Willard has been awesome this year. if you ever wanted to go catch willards bounty now it the best time in years.had another killer day yesterday ourselves

mtncat-Glad to hear you had a good day out there Rich, were you fishing the same area as Hydrofish?
CVFisher- Glad you and your kids had a good day as well Tom. Seems like the shore fishermen are doing as good as the boaters for those big wipers. Not a lot of those 21" and larger wiper left I guess.

yes I was. it seemed like the walleye were on the west side and the wipers on the east . I took Rocky and his 92 year old friend Emery . Emery had never caught a walleye or a wiper before and he was ecstatic to catch something with so much fight. we had to let him know right off the bat that his 10 year old line wasn't going to cut it with 8 dollar lures tied to it . so I set him up with our stuff . and things went great. I think I saw you again out by the island. sorry I couldn't come over to say hi.do you have a radio in your boat?

If you thought you saw me yesterday, it wasn't me, I was out there on Friday. I do have a marine radio but I never turn it on unless someone is out there that I know.
