Went with a friend and his son to test out their boat. Got to the So marina around 4. Everything seemed to run great. Took a run to the light pole and caught one little wiper in the first hour. Headed towards the highway. Saw 10+ boats trolling the area. Assumed it was the spot to fish and started trolling. Fish on within minutes. Caught 20+ wiper between 10-18" and 2 20" walleye between three of us. Saw every other boat killing it too. Planer boards everywhere. Caught most on shad raps, any color, trolled fast, but they didnt seem to care what you put out. Probably could have trolled a stick with a hook. Left when the sun set. No crappie in the marina. Saw one caught. Saw a small large mouth close to shore.? It was great to get them into their first wiper and walleye. They loved it. Another awesome day of catching at willard!
