DC water temp/bass

Anyone been up there lately? I am planning on going somewhere Friday afternoon and was curious if the water was warm enough for the smb to be active yet?

The water was 57 degrees yesterday. I have caught a couple bass this season but it's still a couple weeks away before it gets really fun.

I tried today and no love for bass. Caught only 2 bows the end the wind was miserable but this year looks like a good bass year for how high it is. Hit the island and it's just a steep drop off.

If we get really warm day's can be good in 1-2 weeks my best guess.
