We tried to go a week ago, but it was too shallow for our boat, so we fished just before entering Mud Lake coming from Provo boat harbor. We ended up catching and releasing 39 channel cats in about 2 1/2 hours using white bass meat under a bobber. We had a lot of fun. Most of them were 2-6 lbs. The biggest was 29" and weighed 12.6 lbs.

any chance I could sweet talk you out of directions to mud lake? Is it that skinny road that heads south right before provo harbor?

1400. You will reach a bridge and you will see where they launch their boats. Unless one has a mud boat the odds of destroying one's prop, or worse, is great.
