Hey Mike,
Caught a couple 13's and one 14. Most were 11's and a few 10's. Just pulled them out of the smoker. Just the perfect size to smoke whole. Did some of yours have the reddish patches on them? Mike [signature]

Mike[/quote] Sounds like the same size I was catching. The biggest I had went 13 1/2" on the board. Most of mine were a solid 11-12" and like you said, perfect size for the smoker. Steph's planning on smoking up a batch tomorrow. Yes, a few of mine did have the red patches. Headed back over to Anderson on Friday with the in laws from MN. I think we'll stay through Monday. Should be good, time to get the shoe peg marinated. Also headed over to Depoe Bay on the 18th for some tuna fishing/bottom fishing, then up to Westport, WA the first of September for a 2 day tuna trip on the Ms Magoo. I think I might have "Tuna Fever" [fishin] [signature]

Sounds like fun. The charters are back at the dock in Westport with limits of kings and a load of bottom fish by noon. The captains say you might as well fill out your card on the way out it is so good. Everyone says best in memory. Sekiu is a bit slower, with lots of kings with fins or small blackmouths. They are averaging about 2 kings per boat. Should get better when all those fish off Neah Bay and Westport decide to enter the Straits. Keep us informed as to how you do. The guys on the Bloody Decks site are already talking about tuna. Mike
