I have been reading some reports on the Utah and Idaho boards, I have seen guys reference shoepeg as their bait.
I rarely use bait unless I'm on the ice, so I am curious as to what the heck this stuff is.
Thanks.

It's small white corn, sold in cans.

Except it's not legal to use in Utah, since it's corn. Though the Kokanee are supposed to love the stuff, seasoned appropriately.
Gulp makes some maggots, and corn, and other scented bits that'll work just fine too. And they want cause you the risk of a ticket that actual corn can. (corn king?)

Ok, Thanks.
I'm going to target the kokes this weekend in Idaho so I bought some of those pink Gulp maggots, and some UV glow eggs to throw on the end of my squids. Hopefully they work just as good.
