Gorge
#1
Spent the last two days at the Gorge fishing for Macks and bass, we did good on the Macks better then we did on the bass..
We boated over ten Macks and only 9 bass, the macks was all caught on swim baits in 79' to 120' of water and the bass was in the grass..
The wind made it hard to hold so we could work our lures like we needed to..

Wow bassrods, 10 macks in two days! Good on ya. How big were they? Any pics?

I love Flame George mack reports ... especially since I can't seem to catch them any more.[mad]

We were up at the Gorge at the same time. We fished hideout and sheep creek. We managed to bring back a bunch of kokes and macs. We did the best jigging for the fish since they would only bump the trolling rigs. I did catch a 10 pound mac on the koke rig trolling and my wife managed a twin of it jigging in the same area. We had fun on Saturday afternoon fighting the wind so that our grandkids could catch some fish. They managed to catch a bunch but we drained the batteries on the electric troller and had to resort to the gas troller. We saw people catching fish on Friday but not many on Saturday. Luckily they didn't see us hauling them in Saturday or we would have attracted a crowd.
