Ran acrossed these as they are the hot item for Salmon up in Oregon & Washington. They are spendy and I haven't tried them for Kokanee.
Just passing along a little info...

I agree but……..This maybe a bit off subject but these Shortbus Flashers are saying there also affective on Walleye. Has anyone else ever used a flasher/dodger for the eyes? Doesn’t sound right to me but heck, what do I know. Anyone care to school me?

I'm not saying don't buy it because it's a secret weapon. I'm saying that there are proven products on that you can get locally that will absolutely slay the kokanee in Utah. it's more about where and how you fish ie. speed, temp, depth, timing. color and overall presentation . than a hot flasher that's used clear across the country. if you work on those things you will be far ahead of where you would be just spending money on gear believe me I wasted a lot of money on gear.

I have tried flashers for eyes and came up empty, but I'm not a real eye guy so keep that in mind. Working at becoming better at eyes but not there yet. Later J

Yep, I’m guessing that it’s more of a Great Lakes application for the eyes. You never know though. I was totally surprised when fishing off a buddy’s boat 7 or 8 years ago when he broke out the pop-gear and worm at Willard. Kitties went completely banana sandwich over them that day. [crazy]

I have had enough of my only way to do something's proven wrong I hope I know better than to go out on that plank again. It always seemed like flash ought to attract attention of eyes too but I hated to lose all those dollars of hardware if I snagged up so I try to catch them on as little gear as I can. Later J
